Today is Alyssa and Mya's one week birthday. Alyssa was sleeping when I took their one week old photo.
Mya looks blue because she's under the UV light for her jaundice. She's rocking it out in her cool shades! She also looks different than Alyssa becuase she is quite swollen, mostly from the fluids that are going through her system.
Lindsay taking Alyssa's temperature. She was quite warm because when she's on her stomach she wiggles herself down into a tiny ball!
Changing Alyssa's diaper for the first time. She didn't scream at all! Hopefully it's a good indication of what's to come!
The pics and, as always, the explanations are wonderful! Thanks for taking the time to keep us all caught up. I am so happy about the news about Mya - that first doctor needs a lesson in "bedside doctoring", sounds like. As always, much love and you are all in our prayers. Aunt Brenda
What wonderful news. Who says prayer doesn't work. You both have been so strong through all this. Not so sure I could have been. The pictures are extra special too. Can't wait until we see them in person tomorrow (you too, of course). Nana and I will be praying for and thinking of you in the meantime. We love you all so much. Nana & Papa
What a beautiful pair of girls! And so lucky to have such wise and loving parents! You are all in our daily thoughts and prayers! We will be watching the progress of these two little angels in the days to come!
I am so excited every time I see new pics of Mya and Alyssa. They are such sweet little ones. I am so happy for the both of you and are thinking of you daily - sometimes hourly!! Love you and hugs to you all. Rebecca
A butterfly lights beside us and for a brief moment it's glory and beauty belong to our world, but then it flies on again and although we wish it could have stayed, we are so thankful to have seen it at all.
love, love, love these pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteSee you tomorrow morning :)
Darcy and Riley send their love too!!
